Queer Liberation and Feminism Are Not Rivals

Patriarchy polices gender. It needs rigid boxes: men lead, women obey, and anyone outside is punished as threat. Queer and trans people expose the artificiality of those boxes — which is precisely why reactionary politics targets them.

Shared Roots, Shared Stakes

Bans on gender-affirming care, bathroom panics, and “protect the family” campaigns reuse the same machinery that restricts abortion, justifies honor violence, and enforces dress codes.

Feminist struggle that excludes trans women, non-binary people, and queer kinship is not radical — it is respectability politics in combat boots.

Coalition as Method
